Don't you fret little feller. Everyone in the Lenoir city area is OK. I hope everyone else across the southeast is Ok. It was a crazy storm.

I use the back of the blade on a low brace. And I use the power face of the paddle on a full roll.

Re: Bulkhead outfitting question
You can also raise the foot pegs. It's pretty easy. You might even be able to do it without pulling out the saddle. Yeah, I know Androo. He's a cool guy. Stayed at my house during Alf last year. His whole family paddles. Maybe Smurf can help out if he don't hoard all the boats he can possibly carry with him on his return from ALF. Help a brotha out.

Re: paddle size
Dude, I'm 6' and I'm using a 58" paddle. That's in a canoe of course. I do have a 55.5" that I used once and didn't like much. I might use it again in my c-1 for racing though. I would definitely go longer though, not shorter.

Dude. I paddled today on the tellico. Might do it again on Friday. I highly recommend the GDI page if you want to keep up with river trips and other river stuff.

I tried the prototype out today on the Tellico. I was quite impressed with the boat. It was very stable and noticeably faster than the Maxim. Congratulations Richard.
