I just re outfitted my Genesis. The original outfitting was original to the boat when it was new. I bought the boat from the original owner. Being the first time I had outfitted an OC1 I decided to still the saddle in the exact same location as the original saddle. It seems to be working out well. I...

I was in Lowes earlier tonight and couldnt find anything named Varsol. Heck none of the Crown brand even listed the active ingredients.

How will I know a specific substance is safe?

ReOutfitting a OC1 Questions

I have removed all of the old outfitting from my boat, a Dagger Genesis. How much of the old glue should I remove before glueing in the new outfitting?

What is the best way to remove the old glue? Light sanding? Light use of Acetone?

Thanks

yeah slacklining rocks. i used to be a rock climber but now i am a gym rat.

google slackline express -- they sell kits which are very good

just remember that slacklines are not supposed to be tight, just tight enough to keep the center of the line from touching the ground.

His lack of effective presentation earns him an F.

So, if I were going to make false, misleading and frankly slanderous remarks, I would at least make it easy to buy something so that I look credible and profit. Seriously, this guy FAILS.

Can the l'Edge come with pre drilled holes for painters?

Canoes have to have painters. The Spanish Fly/Taureau dont have them. This might be because I am used to older boats, a Genesis and an Explorer, are my boats.

Drysuit Recommendations

Ok, so I have been normally a fair weather paddler. Now that I am getting more serious about this I will need more serious gear. What kind of dry suit should I be looking for? I am an open boater. How should I size it? I looked at Kokotat suits this morning but they literally all look the same. What...

Center floatations bags ?'s

Why are they cut concave instead of convex? A canoe is a convex shape. I am new to outfitting so I am not trying to troll anyone. I have yet to buy one, to me it looks like a toss up between the Harmony bags (vinyl and nylon) vs the Gaia Everlast bags; 33", 37" and 50" lengths... I cant decide if I ...

I'd like to second the ideas of having the cut out deck for future welding needs.

Wood gunwales.
