It's me Aarons dad

couple things, no glue sniffing in this household. I wouldn't want it to interfere with the "eau de acetone" mixing up the ABS in the family room, and as far as getting Aarons canoe dry; does that mean he'd have to "not paddle" for awhile :-? ?? Maybe when the air warms up, the rivers drop, and we g...

yep...

dry is a good thing. Not particularly cold this day, low 40's, but wet sucks, water about 37. I find the suit particularly helpful on those days when I get up at 3:30 a.m. for work, then hit the river just before brain farting time :-?

abs rod

I found some 1/8 inch dia. abs weld rod on the USPlastics web site. They have it in black or white, although they were out of white when I ordered. It comes in 1 pound rolls, and is a lot easier to make small pieces out of. Got to save Aarons whitesell and quick

Nate and Paul. Hello :) . Aaron and I have paddled the Lackawaxen in Pa. a couple times. I believe it's about our favorite river, very playful. Maybe next year during one of the releases we could get some "multi-generational" paddling families together. If you head up to Ct. anytime (farmington/shep...

48 and 13

I'm 48, started paddling again 7 years ago with my son Aaron who was 6 at the time. Grummans at summer camp when I was a kid, but most of my life my boating has been sailing. 7 years ago I decided to take advantage of the local rivers and get a canoe. Bought a Dagger Reflection and we were hooked. N...

open boaters in Ct.

Hi. I live in Ct. by the Farmington river, collinsville area, and am wondering if there's any canoeists in the area, besides Willard. I paddle with a bunch of local yakkers, love 'em all, but really enjoy seeing another canoe on the river, besides my son( at the age of 13 he almost went to the darks...
