I find it great to put on the river in small groups, but congregate at the play spots and overwelm the tuperware.

so I paniced when I saw only one site open at the park for the three nites and I took it. showing up late friday, got 8-9 permits for sat and 11 for sunday, Me, gumpy and wndwlkr.

gonna hit the Lower Yough sat sun (maybe mon?)
any open boats gonna be around?

is the park campground the best option for camping, especial if arriving late friday night?

besides it would still be at the top of the steps

mostly poor boat control, lack of creeking experience (tellico, crooked fork) and trying to follow experienced booaters in short plastic boats while paddling my fat butt in 11.5 canoe. Hopefully picking up a skeeter next weekend!!

I jumped in wndwlkr's paradigm and thought it similair to the Phantom I paddled for 15 minutes last year.

my thoughs would be I could always cut the decks off. be pretty hard to put them back on. Should also be cheaper less work for the factory.

I find that when I flip the boat over to carry it solo, it rests on the deck plate, and I d rather it do that than the top of the hull.
