Any C boaters in the Turrialba Costa Rica area?

I live in Escazu. Have not paddled much in last couple of years and looking to run some easier stuff as I begin to ramp up my skills.

I sometimes wear a "surfers" vest under a paddling jacket when the day is warm but the water cool. I am more comfortable than in a drytop. For winter weather though I cannot imagine going back to a wetsuit....

Canoes do enforce a certain discipline. In the tough cases brute force will not suffice-how you read water, approach an obstacle, even how you learn to avoid the problems and utilize the strengths of the kneel all become important.

An Aerobat-it taught me to roll. Boat was more comfortable inverted!

Gflex for outfitting

I have a Jeffe Grande I am converting to a C1. Can I use Gflex to secure the bulkhead or should I use another adhesive. I want to make it as secure as possible.
