you had to dig out this embarassing footage, didn't ya... :roll: :oops: :lol: ... The Maven is definitely an interesting boat to paddle. It made flatwater and clas I scary.
But it was a lot of fun!

it seems the "Demo MAVEN", first out of the mold, has resurfaced. It would like to meet you, perhaps there is a shallow pond you can try it out in. If you can actually roll it will help. A lot. You WILL learn a lot from paddling it. ...

... kayakers! I challenge anyone who thinks C1ing is hard to hop in a Sith. And I challenge anyone who thinks C1ing is easy to hop in an Oxygen (or Maven :roll: ) or Wildwater boat (especially my old Ace III....) 8)

... in general on class III -IV. Rather than "push harder" all the time, I do enjoy the scenery... and hop in a different boat. An Oxygen (or Maven :roll: ) can make Class II seem like class IV. Then you get in to the Mentor or Acrobat... more comfy, more stable, but then playing around trying ...

... That said, unless you are creeking I still think glass is the way to go, and though I like ALL my boats, and have a soft spot for the Mentor and Maven (my designs), I could be quite happy only owning one boat if it was a Viper or Sith.
