so what would this be.... ... a Jackson canoe? It would be if you removed the seat and put in something that allowed you to kneel. I think there is a whole different category that is being missed because it goes without a name, so I'm going to say it "hybrids". The, something in between boats. I wo...

I found the best way to dial in my boof is off the tops of waves while running down a river. When you start getting it you can get full air of a small wave.

I think it would good to break it up a bit. I'd be nice if there was the same kind of fourm for pictures, such as outfitting and whitewater. :)

Plastic weld would be nice but not something I have alvalible to me. Did you hull keep it's shape under that kind of heat? Pictures? I used the epoxy instead of goop for the impact strength. Wanted it to be as hard as possible but I'm sure that goop would work too.

Taureau Seam Repair

Don't know if anyone else has a had trouble with the seams on the Taureau coming apart. Mine has done it 3 times now and each time it doesn't hold up. I guess this was a problem they had on some of the first ones they sold. I finally got a hold of Esquif about this and they told me how to fix it for...

Don't forget the Canadians: Mark Scriver -World champion freestyle/rodeo paddler and top notch creekboater - Super friendly and approachable, and him and Paul Mason wrote 'Thrill of the paddle'. And he is a great Instructor. Paul Mason for the same reasons as Mark Scriver. I have to agree with thes...

He's totally boofed out there..... That one of those auto boof type spots. If you split it your good, if you don't your going to have a nasty ride/fall. I'd say in a oc1 it would be a lot tougher move. There's a good chance you'd have to finish your boof with an offside stroke to stay on line. As f...

For sure it helps. It can get you used to the feeling of being somewhere you would not naturally be when just trying to river run or creek. So if you do find yourself in a major hole by mistake your more comfortable with the experience and can hold it together and work on getting out. :D
