It's all in the outfit

Few people were asking to see some pictures of the outfitting in a couple of my boats. So I figured at start a new topic. So post pictures of your boats outfitting. Help give others ideas for the next project and give feed back on what you see. Just finished my Jackson today. The idea is no straps, ...

Just had my foot pegs show up today. So I spent the afternoon installing them. Ended up cutting about a 1/2 inch of the ends of the pegs to give enough room to slide my feet off. But it feels really solid and I think it's going to work great. :D

Not floating high in a hole is a last ditch trick to get out of a nasty hole. Had on buddy that was on the brink in a massive bus eater. As a last ditch effort before the lights went out he ripped off his PFD and was flushed out (true story, pretty scary). So even a full boat can push out easier tha...

I took a OC1 the first time I went too. It was very frustrating because whenever you'd fill up you'd have to go in and dump. That's one place a skirt is a must. Its funny I don't mind a good beating on he ocean :) cause no matter how bad it is you know it will end. On a river you have to keep fighti...

Where I live there are few good OC1 boaters. What happens is most take a solo canoe course get some good swims in, then buy a kayak. Because that's what all the good boaters have. Few see it through. So there always seems to be a lot of beginners around you and nothing else. Even when I'm sitting in...

I was leaning towards a 4Fun. The boats good from 160-210lbs. I weigh 165lbs, so that will be a good fit for me then. Looking for a playboat that still runs rivers pretty good. Thanks for the help :D

C1 Boat up Theory

So, I'm on the hunt for a new C1 playboat right now. I've herd people talk about boating up. Example, if I should be in a Jackson fun to K1, I should get a 4fun to C1 in. Due to the seat height and the powerful strokes it's suppose to give you more air and better control. Anyone have any information...

Yeah, had to punch your way out for the most part. The first day was huge. I only made it out a few times. Still some great surfs. By day 4 had the area all figured out and new the easy ways out. Waves calmed down a lot by the end of the week. If you time it right, you push your boat under the wave ...

I've used them before but never put my feet flat. I would first see if you feet fit in them upside down, if that works your good. If not you could keep the mounts and build your own cups? Looks like if you flip them you'll be squishing the rounded part down to much. If you haven't purchased them yet...
