Some great photos in there Don! You should post a couple in the "no drama just pics of Cboating" thread above.
Like the one of Eli with his bow WAAAAY up on Pillow Rock, or the one of Andrew Westwood surfing his way out of the Room of Doom. Good stuff!

+100 :D Paul selflessly gives time and time again. It's not always easy herding us cats, but Paul makes suggestions that most follow willingly, and holds the hands of us that stray from the path. I know that I would not be boating with this group if it wern't for Paul's welcoming ways and encouragem...

Wayne, count me in for "the more water the better" crowd - but only to a point. I've only boated it at summer flows of 1.8 or 1.9 for most of my runs until this summer. We put on at 2.2 and I thought I had the easiest run on the Upper yet. Everything was padded and all the "screw you" rocks were und...

Bring 'em on Justin! I'm used to providing the entertainment on the UY so it will be nice to watch someone else for once!
BTW, there is plenty of room in the campsite. They allow "as many as can fit" at this campground.
We may be utilizing the entire site....

I have reserved a group site at Mountain Lakes campground for the 16th and 17th.

http://www.mountainlakecampground.com/lodging/campsites

Rates are for the first 7 people: approx $6.50 a night plus tax.
$8.00 plus tax for extra people above 7.

I think we have 5 comfirmed so far......

Dont know where my post went??? Any way Joe, Both of my C-1's are a little bow light. It's nice if you have to make an aggressive forward stroke to be able to NOT bury the bow too deep. Surfing? Lean back and rotate your hips and keep moving. You'll get it....... More miles helps too...... Her...

Joe, I have both of my slicy C-1's slightly bow light. That's because if you NEED to take an agressive forward stroke you cannot afford to bury the bow. You can also acomplish this by throwing your weight way to the back by leaning. That's something you'll learn any way the more miles you put on tha...
