Aqua seal them closed. If it's a "catastrophic failure", use the "sequester" method.

I.V. tube clamps work great for such a condition. Available at any surgical supply place or online.-M-

Can't speak for the stability of the 92, with 2 paddlers, but I paddled some long pools all last weekend in my 91 sitting on the thwart behind the saddle. Try that with any other whitewater canoe. -M-

Harry- I don't know if you'll be a better paddler in the Octane. I can say that the ability to basically flat spin into even the tiniest eddies with a good duffek or cross duffek, has changed my boating style. And I feel that the stability has made me a more confident boater. I have never had more f...
