kayak conversions with higher back deck?

In my remix my heels/ankles are pretty cramped, I've actually had to notch my hip pads around my heels. Any boats out there with more clearance for those of us with big feet?

Pyranha Everest appears to be better, but it's hard to tell just from pictures.

cross bow boof

... So the shuoulder sloping down to left where you want to be driving right and boofing with right angle for example is pretty tricky. paddling a remix 79 conversion. So there it is, open floor.

Easy stuff in the SE with my son, last week of March

... being based in Bryson City, NC and doing easy stuff like the Tuck, Little T minus the narrows, Nanty, etc. C-purists be warned, my son prefers his Remix 47 K1 over being in the bow of our Caption if the water is within his comfort zone (Tuck at 1500 was the hardest he wanted to do in his own boat ...

Re: C1 for those who need a tall saddle?

... 10" or there about. Dennis sits above the cockpit rim in most C-1 conversions that he has paddled. I find that roomy wide creekers (H3, Karnali, Remix ) will allow a tall saddle height and still permit contact with the cockpit rim for control especially if you use some type of hip grabber. I'm ...

Re: Used Dagger Atom Spray Skirt

I haven't had much luck trying to shake down a used Atom skirt. Hopefully you'll fare better. That said, I had a great experience ordering a custom Remix skirt from Snapdragon . They do Atom Skirts as well. Funny how the price pain of buying new evaporates when you actually start using the well-designed ...

Re: c1 sleepy foot syndrome...

I'm thick legged, 220#, and have a Remix 79 with a 8" pedestal - i think that your boat can handle a taller saddle (very stable). When i boat semi-regularly, i can stay in it all day. If i can't get out regularly, i have a pedestal for tv ...

Re: Thigh strap/hip pad locations

I'm a little concerned about the pic of the Remix in the living room, on the coffee table.

I'd be afraid the rough finish on the coffee table might scratch the hull.

C1 knee strap placement

I want to add knee straps (in addition to thigh straps) to my Remix. I'm planning on drilling through the hull to place the upper anchor points. Any suggestions on how high up the sides the place these anchor points? I don't want to drill too low, but it ...
