your'e right, i did most things to save weight, but I also cannot stand to deal with anything that impinges on my wrist/paddle mobility... I only wore a shorty if it was over 20, the water temp was the real issue... ;).

email stu Macintosh, Brit that paddled in athens olympics now works at PWS in penrith, he's in touch with every group that paddles in oz. if there are people around, he'll know how you can find them... enjoy it down there, I sure did.

pretty much the new kid on the face of extreme kayak racing, ijew, isaac levinson is likely going to take it this year. he beat the record last year, and got 2nd. he's been racing very well abroad as well. it'll be fun to see how people do...

horizongfx-touche, I am a fan of clean outfitting, but i don't paddle open boats.
gel formula for the win. it was the best re-invention since the mixture of fruit in the fruit cup. before it was just peaches or pineapple... think about it.

the green is fo real. fun, but fo-real. i followed cluck down it a while ago, that was a great idea... i think there are a handful of folks here who can do it well... it's too bad Ryan Bahn is out in Bend, and Erik Amason isn't racing either, then it would have been a real race, haha. it's a bumber ...
