I've been reading threads on here where its mentioned that people have modified or 'cut down' their Ocoee. I've not been able to find anything explaining the why/hows about it though. Can someone shed some light?

Well I'm getting an Ocoee from Bruce in CO next week, I'm excited to get it wet. I'm going to save up a bit, sell some kayaks, and buy a Zoom too. That way I'll have two boats and will allow me to entice some kayak buddies to try OC1, and Dennis if you make it out this way (sans boat) you can borrow...
