Skeeter in Colorado For Sale

I am selling my Skeeter OC1, $600.00 obo. It is in very good condition, always stored in a garage, not used much in the last 4 years, and probably more durable then the new plastic boats. It includes the original Savage Skeeter light nylon air bags, custom front deck, meticulously outfitted, and rea...

Anyone know Jordan Poffenberger? I have seen some video of him in a Stomper setup as a C1. It would be great to hear his comments on the boat as a C1.

I started paddling tandem with a friend and once i got in in a solo OC1 boat I really haven't wanted to tandem again, except on special ocassions or to take out a beginner. And now that I am paddling C1, I really do not want to go back to OC1. I am not sure about weight ranges for a large Burn, at 2...

For your size, Outrage with no gear and Outrage X with gear are good forgiving big river boats. However, they would be pretty big to lash to a raft? The Ocoee is a great boat and should work ok at your weight, but additional gear weight in big water, those edges can be tricky. From my experience, I ...

Well I am comparing the Stomper to the large Burn and H3. As a stock boat, the Burn seems to be quite a bit higher in the back then the Stomper, which I think I would prefer sitting on a higher saddle.

If you get a Stomper, please share your conversion.

Stomper

I got to see the Stomper 80 and 90 this past weekend at CKS. It looks like a great creeking kayak, but as a canoe the back combing/deck is only 9.5" or so high from the bottom of the boat. I don't think it would be good option for C1 paddlers that want a higher saddle.

(STOMPER! ) with a 5 1/2- 6" saddle. My recommendation is stay away from the Taureau, I had one set up as a C1 and expressed my dissatifaction with design, plastic, and rolling in other posts. Like Larry, the Stomper is the boat that looks interesting to me as a C1, besides the Burn, Everest...

In my H3:255, I built off the factory rail and it works great. PM me your email addrress and I can send pictures, if your interested. I also used straps and cut little slits in the factory rail for the straps to go under. It works great.
