... MORE comfortable in your boat, paddle something LESS stable. A Zoom, narrower conversion, or especially WildWater boat work well. (Yes, folks, and Oxygen or Maven too...if you're REALLY daring  ) Either way, keep at it and have fun!

I am not sure if I will be able to make it, so I did not submit an answer to the survey yet.
Since I have two quite sinkable boats, I feel like I should be there.
Very low cut Oxygen
The Maven that Mike W. got chest deep with.

Cquirt

Planning on being there.
Might even bring *gasp* a kayak!
Sir Adam, are you bringing the Oxygen? I assume that I don't have to ask if a Mentor will be in attendance.

I won't bore you with the beautiful day on the Tuck I had on Sunday, but I'm scouting Cquirt spots for ya, Mike and PAC.

I suggest we bring as many boats as possible (Oxygen, Mavins, Acrobats and the like) since last time everyone climbed into something and we also had some time sharing going on. I'll be bringing my xxx too - not that it is a squirt boat but for a ...

I'll have a bunch of Cquirts (Maven, Mentor, and perhaps Oxygen and Acrobat), as well as my Sith:). I can bring a few other boats, if there is interest in anything in particular. FWIW I'm hoping to have a late summer / early fall (Labor day weekend?) ...

Aye, 'tis all about the fun. I'll be bringing the Maven, a Mentor (or two..), and depending on interest the Oxygen and Master cut Acrobat. The Demo Maven (that MikeW has right now) is for sale...cheap! The Mentor(s) I bring down will also be for sale (reasonable, especially for ...

... I tend to think of the either really popular (HD-1, Hahn, ME, Gyramax, and many of the Hearn-Lugbill designs), and the "out there" designs...Oxygen and Groove being two of them. I'd also through out the Acrobat, as I think more of us have tried squirt moves (attempting mysteries and the like) ...

... a more forgiving craft is going to keep things more accessible for us mortals. Two examples of boats without enough user friendliness would be the Oxygen (NO real rocker in either direction), and the Maven (too narrow for the vast majority of folks...though a few of us lighter folks like it). If ...

we'l find out...

... seat, while reducing volume further. That's really the downside I see to the Mentor still...the remaining volume is right around the paddler (a la Oxygen, but with a lower rim) In cut down boats the only place you can still get volume OUT will be under the paddler, and between your knees.... More ...

... Favorite C-1 river runner: Extrabat Has lots of speed, the low volume stern squirts really well. Favorite C-1 squirt: Toss-up between Maven and Oxygen. Maven has more speed, but feels very unstable. Oxygen is really slow, but sinks easily. Favorite OC-1: Li'D's Dagger Rival R-lite, with wood ...

IMhO not worth it...

... so the boat trims out correctly (this is "important" in a surface boat, but VITAL in a squirt boat...unless you want to look like MikeW in the Oxygen (on one end or the other..yes, in the Oxygen's case it IS most stable that way...). So, cutting out the old rim and creating a new one...not ...

Glad you could join our humble forum again! PS Composites (formerly New Wave) still has the mold, but hasn't made an Oxygen in years (IIRC, the last one was 5 or more years ago, and went to Japan). At that point the consensus was there were 11 in existence...I imagine there may be ...
