There's lots of info on this stuff if you search the forum. I don't know why you couldn't clean it up and slap a kevlar or s-glass patch on it.

I tried a large with a 5" saddle and it was rock solid. 6" should be fine.

Converting Jackson boats
Just bought a karma. It has a plastic track welded to the hull and bolted to the bow and stern pillars. It seems well-attached but I can't tell if it s sturdy enough to stand alone. Anyone have any experience with this?

I had a 07 superstar as a c1- it looks pretty similar to the 2010 4fun. It was a pretty good c1. Can't comment on how easy or difficult flat water cartwheels are since I can't do them.

I haven't tried a fluid solo but from what I ve read, it doesn't sound like a great c1- especially for Ontario. Look for something with a planning hull. Why do you want to make it so difficult? Just sand it and epoxy the vinyl patch back down

It's not guarenteed but cracks are pretty common in the heavy (red and green) l'edges.
