Bend whitewater park, anyone have a boat I can borrow?
I'm going to be in Bend Oregon on Monday July 25th. I really would like to try the whitewater park out while I'm there. Problem is that I can't bring my Superstar C1 and can't kayak worth manure. I'm hoping one of you or someone you know lives near and has a boat suitable for a 200lbs, 6'4" person. ...

Looking for a slalom c1- found thanks!
Looking for a slalom c1, I'm 190-200lbs or 85-90 kgs. I've been paddling a Galasport ET that is rated for 60-80kgs and I've been happy with it. Any leads are appreciated. I'm located in ontario but I'll drive for a resonable deal.

Looking for a Jackson kayak backband.-found one!
Anyone got a Jackson back band and cleats they could sell me? Got a bare superstar hull and I like using the backband for my c1 outfitting.

ignore post, found what I was looking for
I'm looking for a XL slalom C1. I'm looking to buy sometime in the spring or early summer. Would like it to be a somewhat current design. I figured I would get a start in the search since it sounds like its going to be hard to find one in my weight range. I currently weigh 205lbs but can range betwe...

Re: C1 Remix conversion
I've had the same problem of the 25mm nylon strapping slip in the quick release. I now lay them on top of each other and close the quick release making sure to give it a good pull while pushing the quick release down. May want to give that a try before switching to an airplane buckle. In another con...

Re: New Creek Boat!
Some good reviews on the Jackson Karma have come up recently (although i haven't paddled one). I went with a 2015 Jackson ZEN as I didn't feel I needed a "full on" creekboat like a Karma living in Ontario. I've had it out a few times since dialling in the outfitting and am very impressed with how it...

Re: C1 Remix conversion
I really like the way the lower knee straps look, however I don't understand what is holding them down if you were to lift your knees. Will it not pull the glue up from the knee pads? I'd like to do something similar in my 4fun is why I ask.
Also that's some really nice outfitting.

Re: C1 Remix conversion: Seat position
I don't have an answer for you but have a suggestion that has worked pretty well for me. On all the three of the conversions I've done myself I have put a little bit of Velcro down and straped the saddle down as well to keep the seat adjustable. The strap holds it down and the Velcro keeps it from s...

Re: Thigh buckles
Not sure if you're talking about OC1 or C1 but this thread deals with some ideas for C1:
