Given the choice between L'edge And Option, for a creekboat, mid-size water boat, very little playboating, do you have an opinion on which you would choose?

How are the L'edge's holding up?

Just wondering, as it seems that they have been given a fair amount of abuse. Are they holding up ok? Anybody have any big dents or cracks?

I will have t chime in on the OCA. While it is a little slow on the lakes, you will find it to be great for flat water rivers, class II and III rivers. It can be used as a river tripper, which has been my main use for it with my 2 daughters. One of my paddeling buddies even started out with an OCA a...

I have the same problem. I told my Dr. about it, he said welcome to 44. He also put me on Aleve (2 in am) every day, which seemed to help. Let us know if you find something that works. I am going to try the other suggestions that have been posted.

My Dad and Uncle Ran the Upper Chattahoochee, Chestatee, Etowa, and section 3 of the Chattooga in the early 70's in feather craft tandem canoes. Those canoes are still around and are beat to $#!+. My best guess for a boat that is still being manufactured that was a true solo WW boat would be the Blu...

Jim, I think that you should get a Mary Kay Cosmetics sticker and put on that boat! I can make fun because I paddeled a pink Encore for 3 years back in the 90's an caught unrelenting hades about it. That being said, you have a great boat for a beginner to intermediate paddeling, heck even advanced r...

Chris, i went from a Probe 11 to a Maxim, Then to a Detonator, then to a Viper 11. While I can't comment on the Ocoee, I will say that I wish I had gone from the probe to the Viper and skipped on the Maxim and Detonator. Not that there is anything wrong with those boats, the viper just suits my padd...

Supposedly, there are some decent holes on the Chattahoochee below the dam, whe they release water. I have never been there, but a friend of mine fishes down there some ( he is a but boater) and claims that there are some good spots. Good luck, and if you go be carefull of the dam releasing.

Vince, I PM'd you a couple of days ago, but not sure if you got it. I have a Esquif Detonator that I am willing to sell that may work out good for him. I really need to unload this boat as I just bought a 1974 Bluehole OCA with some exceptional wood work that was done on the gunnels. Give me a call ...

Gorilla Glue works well also, and is easier than epoxy. Be sure to wet the areas to be glued. You will also have a little "foam" to trim when it has set. A utility knife works good for this.
