Re: Millbrook Big Boy as OC1?

Hello,
I only built 3 Big Boys and then discontinued the model.
The designer, Bob Connolly, weighs approx 240 lbs and paddles his Big Boy solo. 297 lbs? Maybe. There is only one way to find out.

Don't throw them away! There may be young, upcoming slalom paddlers that would love to have a boat like this, and they may not be on this website.

What a deal!
A collector's item for sure, and still a very fast slalom boat.

Pat,
There is a 20/20 near Calgary, Alberta. Not sure how far that is for you, but I'm sure it's owner would let you try it.

Re: Comparing new OC-1 solos for 200+lbs

Hi Pat, I'll throw in my two cents. i know you're not looking for a composite boat, but if you're not going to be paddling wet mountain bike trails, the 20/20 by Millbrook Boats would be perfect for your weight. And of course it does everything faster, lighter, and drier than any of those other boat...

Re: Thoughts on Esquif Blast??

Alright, I'll throw in my 2 cents. You need a 20/20 from Millbrook Boats.
10'4" long, but it's fast and dry. Check the facebook page for pics.
We also make the Outrage in composite, and of course the Defiant for maximum slalom-like speed.

I've never used them. My feet lay flat like in a C1.
