C1 conversion: straps v. bulkhead
I picked up a LL Remix to do my first conversion. I’d like have good access to the bow area for overnight gear. So I’ve got questions about holding my knees in place. Is it possible to install a bulkhead that’s easily removable? Is ...

Re: ALF Sale Esquif Vertige X, Dagger Cascade, & Blackfly pl
Shoot me an email and I'll gladly reply with pics. Not particularly interested in a trade as I'm trying to thin the fleet and make space. Potentially a kayak (Nomad 8.5, Remix, RPM, Green Boat).
Thanks.
Thanks.

... a creeker? The river runner that lots of people like on cboats is the Remix. I’m 160 lbs and 5’10” which is towards the lower end of the Remix 69 recommendations. But, cboats wisdom often says to choose a larger size—do you think the ...

... and kayak play boats. I'm sure you could find something that's sporty while being stable enough to paddle with confidence. For me, that's the Remix 79. I hope the Super EZ works out! I've paddled undersized kayak conversions and it sucked hard.

Re: C1 Outfitting
I paddle (among other things) a Spanish Fly and a Remix - the transition back and forth is not bad at all. Note that I do have some history is smaller, less forgiving boats. A good sized creek boat wouldbe good - one rule of thumb is go up one size from what you'd pick if you were kayaking it.

Re: curious about c1
Here are my very subjective observations. (I've OC'd an Outrage and L'edge. I've C1'd an Atom, Cascade, Amp, and Remix) C1 Pros: - Smaller profile boats - More play, more reactive, less boat to move around - Paddling in 3 dimensions - Cheaper to find a good used kayak hull to convert ...

... mandatory for good boat control. I'm also of the opinion that getting your knees out as far as possible helps with both stability and comfort. My Remix doesn't allow much spread and my legs and feet cramp up bad compared to my other boats. Others say they are quite happy in certain boats with ...

Wanted - liquid logic kayak outfitting
Hey folks,
I'm after a full set of kayak outfitting for a LL Remix. Anyone looking to part with theirs?

Re: Cracked Taureau
Good luck.
It does feel pretty weird at first to cut off one part of a boat to fix another part. I've had to hack off welding rods from the cockpit of my Remix several times. You get used to it.
