Hey Paul! I started a thread on this boat a couple of weeks ago when I was thinking of getting it. Replies are mixed.

Let me know how it handles. Looks like it's in great condition.

Re: need help ID-ing this New Wave C1
Yeah, he only wants $150. I picked up what's maybe a Bat of some kind a few weeks ago and would like to get a Viper. There's one in Richmond I might take for two bills. It's not a lot of money for someone who has a job :( but I am not one of those people at the moment. Lots of time, not a lot of cap...

Re: need help ID-ing this New Wave C1
Dude can't find the build sheet, but if anyone is interested it's outside Philadelphia. https://philadelphia.craigslist.org/boa/d/trenton-13-new-wave-kayak/7204078576.html Looks like it's got bags, which is like half the value of the boat. Also saddle looks pristine, and very little wear on the bott...

it's my birthday
Someone sell me a New Wave Viper C-1
Do it quick, I'm so happy right now, the feeling might wear off.
(Seriously, I've got the disease.)

Re: Cboat Fire Sale
I know we're getting close to the End Times, but I was wondering if either of your Vipers were still available. Thanks.

By "creeking moves" do you mean "pitoning"?

Re: Fiberglass Crack Repair, Unemployed Boaters Union Local 282
Thanks, Adam. It's far enough back that I don't think I can reach. It's in the last 20" pointy inches of a twelve foot boat.
Your advice will probably come in handy later as I seem to want to push this thing into its intended use as a creeker.
I'll send some images later.

Re: Fiberglass Crack Repair, Unemployed Boaters Union Local 282
This seems to be the most straightforward and professional video I could find. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xm2Ezo70vFI Fully half of the comments are compliments on the guy's hair, which seems reasonable. All the other videos I could find feature ugly work and guys wiping things clean with rags ...

Fiberglass Crack Repair, Unemployed Boaters Union Local 282
Hey everyone, I cracked the stern of my Descender this past weekend. Just wondering if anyone had any Pro Tips they wanted to pass on as I repair it. I've got resin, fiberglass mat, and lightweight roving to do the job. About an 8" crack far back enough to the end of the boat that I won't be able to...

Re: Slalom C-2 and C-1 for sale
It's probably been answered in the previous 36 attempts to sell the Maybe Bat, but what do you guess the proper paddler weight range to be for that boat?
I lost my job but my birthday is coming up, and a hundred bucks is a Nice Price.
Thanks.
