paddling a John Berry made Berrigan

Bought it last year from his friend, Henri DeMarne. It hung in Henri's garage for maybe 20 years, maybe 30 years, he used it maybe twice. It's like new! I had one like it in 1977 that I paddled everywhere, Yough, Cheat, Chatooga, solo in the center hole, made a big spray skirt, even used to roll it ...

I like mid May also.
I will bring:

Patriot C2
Viper C1
Atom C1

So who is bringing the Wheelboy?

Is anyone interested in paddling a Berrigan C2? This is your classic endhole tandem.

till next

canoes for sale

Three John Berry-designed-and-built fiberglass canoes. Both C1s are of the Czech design, the C2 is a Berrigan. One Czech C1 is a large volume boat, great for heavy white water which I have used extensively in my younger days. It is in very good condition and I am asking $350 ...

Berrigan/endholer

You haven't truly endered until you have endered in an end-holer C-2, Berrigan or otherwise.

Enough said.

(And for you upstarts: "ender" means 360, period. "Not" Pop-ups.)

Making Fun of the Berrigan

Craig is showing a lack of perspective. Give him a chance and he'll grow up. We were all a little like that once.

Berrigan mold

Craig, Don't knock the old end-hole C-2. I just finished paddling one down the Grand Canyon. It was an absolute blast. :P It was way more fun than any Grand Canyon trip that I've ever taken in a C-1 or OC-1. My bow partner was getting spectacular air time. I'm looking forward to doing it again. You ...

Berrigan Mold

 Hello Kaz,
I had a Berrigan, and I'm not anxious for another one. But it was my first whitewater boat and it brings back good times.

I remember seeing you on the Deerfield and Tohickon when I boated back East. I miss the C1/OC1 company out here in California.

SYOTR,

Berrigan mold

Greetings all,
I have a Berrigan C-2 mold for sale if anyone is interested. Or maybe I should donate it to the Smithsonian and take the tax writ-off.
Let me know if you're interested in this vintage C-2.

Rec C boats (the beginning of CBoats.net!)

... completed the assembly of the boat. As a result, many of the Noah boats had very sloppy (and heavy) seam lines! John Berry (co-designer of the Berrigan C-2) made a modified Hahn C-1 called, of course, a Berry Hahn. It was a lower volume boat, as far as the modified Hahns went, but the deck ...
