Hey Boof, I'm not familiar with the Dagger Rx. But at 150lbs you should be fine in a 230. I'm 170 and J's Inazone that I have paddled is a 240. I thought it was stable enough but yet really play-able. Cadster mentioned the cockpit rim-- the tabs for the knee grabbers (kayak parts) can easily be cut ...

Inazone
Go for the Inazone if it is big enough for you. J Robbins paddles one of these and it is awesome as a C-1.

Memorial day weekend would work for me. We could potentially set up a Cheat canyon run for Sunday. Jim

Tandamonium II
I'm up for it. Just got to get the date on the calender. Probably good to do it in July or August when nothin else will be running. Which will be also a good thing (read lower flow) for all of us "occasional" tandam paddlers who will be busy trying not to create a carnage fest

I voted 4/25-26. But I'll make it whenever it happens. Kneal, Speedy recovery to ya. Theat is a nasty injury that I'm sure will take awhile. I busted myself up pretty bad on skis about 6 weeks ago but not nearly as nasty as your incident. Mine involved entering a mogul field from the side at 30+ mph...

Solo C-1
Yes the Solo makes an excellet C-1 creeker. It has super secondary stability and likes to stay upright. It is really easy to roll and resurfaces from being submerdged nice and level like hitting the up button on an elevator. It is a kind of slow boat and does not track especially well but is turns s...

zepher roll
The zepher rolls just fine with saddle and thigh stap outfitting. With the bulkhead outfitting (which is what you want if you want the outfitting to stay stuck to the boat) the boat is tough to roll due to water daming. You will need to instal as many transfer tubes as you can though the saddle to l...

Flirt vs Z
I'm around 170lbs and have a M flirt and a X. I feel at my weight I'm on the upper limit of the X for river running. A Z would probably work well for you. The Flirt is a great hole surfing boat, very capable of all the latest freestyle moves if ya got the skill, but being a ~6 foot long boat it is j...
