Re: Hot dam! A new Groove video!

Sweet. The original Massive/Groove video with P. Danks was one of the most inspirational I have seen - right up there with J. Lugbill/'89 Savage worlds. (And that comes from someone with serious stick chasing tendencies). ...edg

Hot dam! A new Groove video!

This comes with HUGE thanks to Murky Water Paddling Supply and Level Six. Watch it, share it, embed it- most of all enjoy it! And of course.... buy one! It's too much fun to be legal!

... too...(flipped end over end...when it is an intentional cartwheel it is fun... when you drive your bow in to the sand, not so much...). Massive Groove is another great surfer as it is very loose. I had a more difficult time getting out over the breakers in it though (vs the Viper). Lots of fun ...

Re: twist and crawl

... with the outfitting, but you may find you will have to grin and bear it. I have a number of boats, both open and decked. The one I used most is my Groove which has a 5 1/2" High saddle. This contorts everything substantially, so I spend alot of time stretching to improve flexibility. That, along ...

Big Waterfall Running with critical thinking

... Richard Guin Wrote When I build a boat for myself for hard paddling, I do the plug trick is the bulk head and on the saddle. I also cut a center groove out of the saddle and put a layer or two of soft foam down then cover it with knee pad foam this helps spread the hit out. Mark Zakutansky Wrote ...

Re: To glue or not

... Just had a screwy idea that I will share for the amusement of all. If there is a reason to seal the edge of a bulhead, perhaps one could cut a groove and use an inflated bicycle tube as the "gasket."

A Few Canoe Paddles FS/FT (Boats are gone)

... never been in the water. It has a beefy glass rock guard tip, a huge spooned blade, an indexed shaft, and an ergonomically contoured T-grip (thumb groove). $175 Aquabound Edge: 61 5/8" (yikes!), white plastic blade, black fiberglass shaft. Used only 2-3 times. Shaft looks shiny new, blade mostly ...

JimiCup C1 mind meld...

JimiCup is July 21 at Smoothie on the Ottawa R. Will anybody be coming with their C squirt? Would anyone like to have a meeting of the minds- informal trading of skills in conjunction with the event? I'll be there with my Groove.

Re: Your knees will thank you!

Patellar tendonitis? Usually the problem is misaligned tracking and pressure of the keecap in its groove. Why should your patellar tendon develop tendonitis from thin padding? More likely, if it is the tendon getting sore, there are forces putting high transient tension ...

Will Lyons & Jason Shephard Ran the Narrows in a Probe 14 in 2007. They had a very clean line on "go left", and sensibly walked Gorilla and sunshine.
May 27, 2012 Burton Greer and I ran the whole gorge, including "the big three."
