Re: foot pegs - or no pegs?

I know paddlers who tuck their toes under the foot pegs.

Ankle foam blocks are common enough.

Re: what to buy what to buy !?!?

Zephyr is light and fast, might even be a good ww boat for overnight trips up to several nights. Because of the hull material it’s helpful if you live near Esquif if it needs repair. L’edge lite will be good for learning and pushing your limits. The Probe 12 is a great intro boat, good down river cr...

Re: Esquif Extasy! New model!

Just wondering how Extasy is for lighter but taller paddlers?

I know it is designed for smaller paddlers as in shorter and lighter paddlers.

Re: Solo canoe capable of camping but also up to class II

If you are hitting branches and believe you need a smaller more manoeuvreable canoe you should also consider improving your moving water canoe skills by taking a course.

Re: Outfitting advice for an old Rival?

I love the Rival. It is friendly and fast. It also makes a great solo whitewater canoe tripping boat. I'd go with thigh straps or a bulkhead. You already have thigh straps and anchors so might be your best option. Before you cut down your saddle you should try out some other solo canoes to see what ...
