Class V congratulations Alden! Haystacks of photos... the phone book of rivers, paddle info and destinations. Very impressive achievement, time to quit work, sell the house, give the dog away and paddle, paddle, paddle.

Thank you,

Kevin

The Kennebec was a river tripping canoe built with a heavy Royalex sheet. The bow and stern stems lacked the re-curve that the OT Tripper has. Unfortunately, the canoe was discontinued more than 10-15 years ago, approximately. Call Old town to confirm.

Curious... I paddled the Prelude this past season and was surprised at the good initial stability. Much more stable than the Ocoee that I've been paddling for 10 years. The Prelude seat was cut to 8" and rolls marginally well for me... I added a lap belt which improves its rolling- still trying to i...

P-tex

Use a P-tex stick (polyethelene stick) purchased from a ski/snowboard shop. A 12" stick sells for $3:00, sometimes you can color match the hull. Back with tape as well.

The pedestal had been glued with Mondo Bondo or Hydrogrip, used the same for the reglue. I would leave the d-rings alone and add what you want elsewhe...

Robson Finkenmeister

I plan on ordering a new finkenmeister, anyone have any experience ordering from the dealer reps shown on the Robson site? I'm located in southern Maine with no east coast dealers nearby. Thanks for your comments and ordering experience.
