Re: Trailer advice

I picked up a 3.5 X 5 cRgo trailer at lowes. About $400, threw some cross bars on as a quick fix. Worked great for 3 short boats and gear. Gonna make a raised, wider rack in spring. Raise the axels do see if I can extend the toung.

Dry glass treatment

I just cut a kneeling thwart and toe bar out of an older Hahn and am wondering if I should treat exposed glass with anything before glueing foam over it.

And what is the best aheisive to secure the foam in?

I'd store it upside down from straps, keep the varmints from nesting.

Re: Pump in a L'Edge

I prefer the front, keeps everything hand in case I need to tweek. Also find it easier to lean forward then back to get that little extra water thru the pump.

Re: Octane 85?

Prototype was made by cutting down a n octane 91 width and length. I've seen one since that seams lighter than what the 91 was, so as much as I liked paddling it is be concerned being a big guy to take it creaking and abusing it. Jeremy originally told me he was making something the women might like...

Re: Boat of the Week - Mohawk Maxim

if people have some history on these 'boat of the week" entries Id love to hear. having gotten in to canoeing after 2000, I'm curious as to what was going on when some of these designs happened.
