Dagger Dimension
1. I get to paddle with my sweetie
2. Loves big water
3. It can carry a lot of gear
4. It looks great on my Toyota Rav4
5. Only bummer, is that it weighs a ton

kanukyotee, Are you comfortable paddling the Mckinsey or Umpqua Rivers? I feel that the South Fork of the Smith above the gorge, would be more difficult than these two rivers. The Gasquet run probably a notch down, but the North Fork a notch above. And the water is very cold. I have never done the N...

Back in 1993, we did the Gasquet ran at 10,700 CFS, paddling a Dagger Dimension. This was measured when the old gauge was at the confluence with the North Fork. This was the first year of the State of Jefferson downriver race and slalom course, and we were part of the safety sweep. The following day...

Thanks
It's that time of the year again. Time to reflect on how lucky we are to be able to enjoy this wonderful sport of ours. Below are three pictures from the Main Salmon that, for me, say it all. My issue is with my thumb on my right ( shaft) hand. It does not like to grip "under" the shaft - likes to be on the same gripping plane as my other fingers. Only done the Cabarton Run once, everyone we ran into seemed very surprised to see us. . . [img]http://images.myphotoalbum.com/r/ra/rap/rapi/r...

When my zip on my old Kokatat GT dry suit started leaking, sent it to Kokatat and the suit "failed" Gore's test and ended up with a new suit for a fraction of the cost. Went with GT feet which I had to cover that upgrade cost. But still with the pro-rated cost was @ $300, and I now have happy toes. ...
