trying to contact SandyO

Does anyone have contact info for SandyO?
I sent a PM, but no response.
I'm interested in the Rodeo for my GF.
If anyone knows Sandy and can relay the message it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jim

Seth paddles a Nemesis.
I own Seth's old boat which is a Flirt.
Unfortunately the tricks did not convey with the boat sale :(

Fluid Flirt or Nemesis. Size M
Flirt should be able to be found for $300 or less as the Nemesis is its replacement.

Do a sweep stroke under water or reach behind you on your offside with the paddle about 1 ft under water and stoke to the surface. This will pull the boat completely upside down so you can set up to roll.

With a little practice this can be done very quickly in a combat roll situation.

OK. I need to nominate myself for a bonehead award. I put my extra 12V 5Ah battery on charge overnight and tried it on the pump rig. They spooled up just fine. Took the tandem to the LY over the weekend and that battery ran the double pump just fine for the day and ran the single pump in my Zoom for...

Pumps wired in parallel. If they were wired in series you split the voltage across the pumps. They get 6V and won't run.

Gumpy,
You are right. I just short handed the notation....But my battery would not drive both pumps. Diconnected one pump and the other spooled up just fine. Could be my batteries are shot. Been C-boatin' for the last season and a half and slacked on the battery maintenance.

Attwood Tsunami Double Pump System Battery Recomendations?

I got 2 Tsunami 1200 pumps to set up a double pump rig for my Caption. I have V1250s in my other open boats. What I missed is that the Tsunami pumps have a 4A draw as opposed to 2.6A. This prevents me from running two pumps on my current battery which is a 12V 5A sealed lead acid. I use an Otter box...

Nice job Jan. Very skilled repair.
Keep us posted on how it holds up.
The structural repair is done on my Zoom. It just needs a little paint to be put on the water this weekend. I'll report back after a few runs on how the repair is doing.

I'm in the process of repairing my Zoom with ABS goo made by melting black ABS pipe with acetone. I had an area of damage with foam core exposed. For large areas, build a plug to fit inside of your boat to support the area being repaired as the repair material will soften the boat in the process and...
