C1 in Flagstaff?
Hey mates, I'm paddling the Grand Canyon in June (June 29 launch) but I have no way to get my boat out there from Virginia. Wondering if any boaters in the Flagstaff area might be willing to loan or rent a C1, or even sell cheap. My preference would be Atom or Cascade. I promise to take good care o...

Re: FS: Vajda Martikan MMII slalom c-1
So right you are. And I don't really need another squirt boat.
Well, that relieves my of having to further consider spending $1200.

Re: FS: Vajda Martikan MMII slalom c-1
From the website, it would appear that that boat would support someone in my (190) weight range. You still have it? What is the layup? Is cockpit "standard slalom" size?
Thanks mate.

Racks and Subarus
I'm looking at a 2006 Subaru Impreza wagon with factory roof rack. Has anyone tried to supplement/modify/replace these with Yakima? What pieces do you need?

Acrobat is still available.
I think the Acrobat would be nicely squirty at your weight. I'm a bit heavier and it barely floats. But then, isn't that the point?
My main problem with it is my feet are too big.

Acrobat for trade
A relatively low-cut Acrobat with a nice paint job is available. I love the boat, but it's too small for me to paddle safely (too hard to get my size 12 feet in and out). I would entertain trade offers of either OC for family river paddling, or perhaps a Viper C1, or ????. Boat is in Blacksburg, VA....

Various C1s looking for new home (modified)
Our paddling brother, Harry Robertshaw, has paddled off down the great river in the sky. His widow has commissioned me to dispose of his boats. They are: [Atom and Gyramax are now spoken for] A Batmax with a bad paint job. [the F2 with the bad paint I mentioned in the earlier edition is gone, I gues...
