I'm interested in the ME if it's still available. I'll be coming through Lynchburg next week and can pick it up. I have and NRS Dry top that's in great condition and an old Patagonia top that needs new gaskets. Could also throw in an NRS Farmer John wetsuit. The ME may not withstand hard use. ABS does get gradually more brittle with time. A friend let his ME get away from him, going down at Chicken Coop Gap, and it pitoned a tree. It split right down the stem in a very jagged fashion. Wan't a very cold day. Usually, a piton like that on a newer ABS boat will result in folding and crumpling, or at worst in a tear lacking jaggedy edges.

On the other hand, if you're old and careful like me, you may take it a long way. My MR Synergy, bought in '98, has no cracks, folds, or significant damage.

The ME is my first love. I like it on big water. Also the Girl handles it well on class 2 beer float days.
