I have rolled the boat solo from all 3 positions, and can roll it tandem with the right partner. This boat has seen a good amount of action over the years, but still has many years of life left in the hull. It has not been wrapped on a rock. The C2 is being sold with 2 spray skirts and 2 cockpit covers. Thigh straps are installed in all 3 positions. Length of the boat is 14'9". Factory weight was listed as 52 lbs. FS: Hydra Duet ( Plastic C2) with skirts, $300
The Hydra Duet is a plastic (cross linked polyethylene) C2. It can take a beating and it keeps on giving. The boat for sale here is actually both a C2 and a C1. It was made with a center hole (3 holes total). When running tandem, a cover is placed on the center hole. When running solo, covers are placed on the front and rear positions. It is loads of fun.
