From the little I know about the Riot prototypes, there are only 5 in existence (I believe they are all the same, but I do not know for sure). FWIW I am currently the keeper of one, and KNeal has a squashed one. Not sure where the other two are.

The plastic Groove is almost as rare as the Oxygen (only 11 built to date, I believe). Of course, it does make me feel good to think there are almost as many Maven's (4) around as plastic Grooves:)

Ellis Smith, Riot boater and cboater "extrodinaire", in Richmond, Va. (my hometown 8) ) had a prototype Riot Groove when they first came out. Don't know if he still has it or not, but that's one more accounted for.

If anyone is interested in it, I will be in the Ottawa valley next week and might be able to have a look at it and /or arrange for transportation. On the other hand I might be compelled to by it myself, even though I have not planned on any additions to my quiver, but this might just be something that's too hard to pass on upon... 8) ...
