Any Boat, Gear, or outdoor related item you have for sale. If you use it on a paddling trip, or to prepare for one, it's fair game.

c1 slalom boat for sale

Post by chip »

I honestly don't know the first thing about c1 slalom. I bought this boat at Nantahala Outdoor Center in NC and never got a chance to use it. It was used by them to teach with. Someone said they thought it was a Kent Ford boat but I can't verify that. It is 13' 2" long and 28" wide at the cockpit. I can email pictures on request. Asking $225. I have a new skirt for it also that I will sell for $30, size small I think. The boat is in good shape, it could use a new coat of epoxy on the bottom but there are no holes or cracks. Can be seen in Morganton NC.

I will take $150 for the boat and skirt. Contact me at turpin3 at charter.net for more info or a phone #

Is the pistol included with the boat? This could make an amazing new form of biathalon!

Reminds me of those humor pieces in AW from the early 90's(?).

If that pointy tip doesn't clear out a spot in the eddy, the pistol will ;)

I moved up from that pistol, the powder kept getting wet. I now have a 50cal mounted on the front and I come into the eddy blazing! As far as the pointed tip, it's great for making fish kabob on the river. By days end you usually have four or five nice trout ready to cook. What a deal, $150 and it could be yours!!!!!! What are you waiting on???

possible interest

Post by oldscool »

Chip,
I may be interested in the boat, but just want to know what kind of shape the body is in. Any holes, cracks, repair work you've done?
What kind of shape is the skirt in?
If everything looks good, I am interested. The only problem is that I am in WMass. Do you have any travel plans in the near future?

There are no holes, cracks or repairs but it will need a coat of epoxy on the bottom as it has worn down to the fiberglass somewhat in places but it could be used as is. The skirt is new, never used. I don't have any travel plans in that direction. You can email me at turpin3 at charter.net for more info or a phone # if you would like to ask more about it.
