Mad River called it navy, but my friends call it purple. I will have to look at the date when I get home.

I was curious if it was built after 2000. The wood gunwales boats built after that date had more bow flair than the earlier ones because they started steaming the wood and pre-bending it so it would have the same shape as the prototype Outrage. If yours has the more bow flair I would definitely be interested in it.

It has the bow flair - the gunwales were steamed and pre-bent just the way Tom and Jim designed it.
