WTB/rent/borrow or steal open canoe (plastic or glass)

Any Boat, Gear, or outdoor related item you have for sale. If you use it on a paddling trip, or to prepare for one, it's fair game.

WTB/rent/borrow or steal open canoe (plastic or glass)

Post by s_shaw103@hotmail.com »

Bellingham's Ski to Sea race is May 30th, and our team is in desperate need of a canoe. Any help?
We paddled a very old Grumman last year and would not like to repeat that experience, if possible.

My partner and I are both experienced paddlers and the course is fairly mellow.

No longer than 18 feet and no shorter than 15.2 feet.

Race Canoe

I know of a perfect canoe for the job. It has a ton of spray paint on it and several soft spots on the chines. There may not be any thwarts in it either. It would also be hard to convince someone to steal it. The only problem is that it currently lies clear across the country in Western Maine. Call 864-630-5501 and ask for Buster to get more details.
