WTB Tandem whitewater canoe - MidAtlantic (WV)

Hey Folks...

I am looking for a tandem whitewater canoe. I am not to picky, just something that is sea worthy and can handle up to Class III/IV...

Would like to find something close to WV.

I know its out of your geography, but if you don't mind driving the Appalachian Mountain Club's New York-North Jersey Chapter is cleaning out their canoe collection and they have maybe 30 boats for sale. If you don't mind making the trip to the NYC area to pick it up, it may work out... CanoeKayak at amc-ny.org

I know they had some pretty good condition Dagger Dimensions OC2 for sale last time I checked.

Mad River Howler 15'x28" red royalex 14"asymetric rocker with a flared bow 2 microsell saddles, Northwoods padded 2" straps and anchors, new nylon bags, 2 extra 4" oak thwarts added. Foam knee and shin pads glued in both positions. paddled less than a dozen times. $700 Rogers AR.

Knee and neck problems prompting sale. Gunnels and thwarts treated with tung oil 4 coats last summer. Stored off ground under tarp.

Will be at Arkansas Canoe Club Whitewater School on the Mulberry if not sold before then, along with a New Wave Mongoose K1 creeker with skirt $250.
