The time has come where I can now longer pretend my XL13 is a creek boat. I am looking for a short boat to step it up, something like a maxim or a prelude [wish I could afford the L'Edge]. I can spend a little over $400, depending on what the boat condition is. I am in the Nantahala Gorge, and am willing to drive around 4 hours to pick it up. A beater is fine, as long as its serviceable.
