Slasher for sale, upstate NY

Post by Sir Adam »

I found my first two C1's i ever owned today, and bought them back. While I don't mind owning 2 Cascades, I really don't want 2 slashers...

So, I have a Perception Slasher for sale, yes, with the saddle, straps, etc... Slight leak in one end, I may weld it up, or leave as is (a bit of duct tape has been perfect for years). I suspect it was drug on its tail at one point (that is where the leak is).

$150, and I can likely toss in a skirt to go along with it.

Aw come on, slashers are amazing fun. I just did the king of NY race on the black in a slasher. Whoever got that boat is a lucky man.

Yup, love it so far. I just tried it in the pool and on a small pond. Practiced rolling it. It feels a lot more stable than I feared. I'm not worried about taking it on the (flat) river to practice strokes. Rolls practice in the pool for now. Thanks for the boat and for driving to meet up. And it was great meeting you yesterday. Good people. I'll be in touch.

I'm glad the boat has a good home and will get used! As much as i enjoy having folks try out lots of boats, and having a "quiver", I do feel guilty with the amount of time a lot of them just sit there. The Mentor, Acrobat, and Sith always seem to be my go-to boats for local paddling.

If you (or anyone else) wants help with rolling, just let me know!
