Long time kayaker (10 year's) looking for an oc-1. Just decided to sell off all my k-1 stuff and become an open boater. I know , strange. Anyway im a class 3-4 boater 10+ year's whitewater, 4 years class 3-4 raft guide, can read water well. Spent most of that time in playboat's up until last year. Been creekin in a burn lately. Always owned flat planing hulled boat's , never owned a displacement. So Im used to an edge. Not looking for a beginner boat but not looking for a park n play boat either. Im located currently in central Kentucky. Some of you may know me, maybe not.( I've been around the block). Im coming into this blind and expect a steep learning curve. I will have the proceed's from My kayak sale's next week. So someone sell Me a boat. Really not interested in a long boat.

Check out gearswap on Boatertalk. Set the filter to canoe. There will probably be around 20 to pick from. The TSRA and GCA websites will have some for sale too. Its harder to find a used Royalex boat in decent shape at a reasonble price than it is to find a kayak.

I have one fully outfitted (air bags too) and in almost brand new condition for $850. I'll be passing thru KY on I-75, on Friday 7-22. This boat retails for $1729 with outfitting (but not airbags).
