SOLD! Dagger Legend 16, flotation

Post by boone »

Boat has gone to a new home.

Dagger Legend 16 - 16', two-person canoe for whitewater or moving rivers. Now sold as the Mad River Legend 16. Features heavy-duty Royalex layup, vinyl trim, shallow arch hull and moderate rocker, great stablility and maneuverability, and huge gear-hauling capacity. We have used it for multi-day trips on the San Juan, Green, Chama, and other rivers, as well as day trips on local rivers.

Comes with two webbing seats, spare foam knee pads, spare cane seat, and any other little extras I can find. Voyageur Kevlar skid plate in front; the usual scrapes and dents, but nothing major and no defects. D-rings glued throughout for rigging gear. Always stored indoors – no sun damage.

Asking $650 OBO.

Not included in the asking price but also for sale are:
1. Voyageur (now Harmony) end (both measure 33") and center (40"x22') float bags (one trip on them) - $100 OBO

2. Dry box that fits the center of the boat perfectly (D-rings glued in the boat to secure the box) – see http://www.dryboxs.com/products.htm for more info. Dimensions are 24" x 28" x 17" depth. $100 OBO

3. Voyageur 60L dry barrel. Used on one trip – clean, dry, in almost-new condition. Polyethylene barrel will keep your food bone dry and everything from mice to bears out. No need to hang your food in trees. You have easy access to gear, the wide mouth lid is completely removable, and the barrel is totally watertight when sealed - plus adds lots of flotation. $50 OBO

I've got lots of photos I can send out - just send me a message!

Boat is in Missoula, MT

Legend

Post by boone »

I'm in Missoula, Montana.

I'm definitely willing to consider shipping the boat - although I have no idea how much this would cost or how it could be done. We have a new baby and I have no extra time, so if you're willing to do the leg work on shipping details I'm willing to make it happen!

Thanks for looking - this has been a great boat for us, but it's time to move on to something more baby-friendly.

How much for the Galasport paddle? That one is easy to ship.
