Re: COMPOSITE CREATIONS BULLDOG CANOE FOR SALE
An unsolicited testimonial: (Dang -- there I go usin them big werds agin!)
I bought a used Bulldog last year, thanks to some great Pony Express work by cheajack and Smurfwarrior.
I LOVE this boat -- it's shorter and lighter than the Ocoee. Surfs like a dream. Lively, yet solid and predictable. Rolls well.
This might not be the boat for you if you like bouncing down shallow or abrasive streams, but -- if the water's deep enough, it's a great hull.

Re: COMPOSITE CREATIONS BULLDOG CANOE FOR SALE
Another testimonial... unsolicited I might add.
I've owned one and paddled two (Pierre's).
Mine was the first boat, or at least a very early model that the owner of CC paddled and this one here for sale has all the fancy upgrades that I DREAMED that mine had had. The smaller cockpit area/larger tanks, the shorter inside sidewall height... etc. With the smaller cockpit, a bulkhead setup would be super easy to make, using the front wall to glue the foam to. I mounted hatch covers on mine and inside storage was excellent. I could fit a two piece break down paddle in mine. If mine would have had these updates, I'd still own it.
Great surfing boat with enough edge to control it on a wave, retentive enough in a hole to stay and play yet not trippy enough to give you mandatory roll practice. Stable downriver too.. Mine would roll up with only a few inches of water in the bottom, not as dry rolling as the L'Edge, but I would assume with the changes made that this would roll as dry as the L'Edge. It makes a cool 'thunk' noise when you land a good boof. Always made me smile...
Now, it only I had $700

Sure looks like a boat design ready to be poly-ed
Re: COMPOSITE CREATIONS BULLDOG CANOE FOR SALE
Just out of curiosity, 'cause I really don't need another boat (although "need" can be a very flexible concept) About how much does it weigh?
Ah, I see from the website it's supposed to be ~ 44 lbs. Does that seem about right?
RobertM
(also, oddly enough, in Lexington KY)

Re: COMPOSITE CREATIONS BULLDOG CANOE FOR SALE
I haven't spent much time using the PM feature on here, perhaps I'm not using it correctly, but I didn't see your message.
I'm sending you a PM, to see if it goes through.
