Are you willing to ship the boat to Montana? If so I am interested in buying it.

Hi,

Yes, the boat is still available.

In theory I am o.k. with shipping the boat out to Montana, however the problem is gonna be cost, particularly since it is a cross border shipping. I was looking at shipping a boat the other way a few weeks ago the other way, from Colorado to Toronto, and the shipping cmpanies were either giving me absolutely ridiculous quotes (US$300 - 400, plus the duty taxes and brokerage fees), luckily the owner of the boat was going to a slalom competition in Indiana and I was able to go down thereand pick it up personally. Therefore I think shipping it is not gonna work.

However the OC Slalom Nationals this year are on July 9 - 11 on the blackfoot river in Greenough Montana, and usually there are a few Canadians fron Ontario participating.
I might be able to get a racer to take it along in exchange for a share of the gas money, that's as far as I can tell the only way this might work at a reasonable cost.

Let me know if you are interested.

Shipping the boat across the border sounds ridiculous; I hadn't thought about that part. If you can find someone to bring the boat to the slalom races in July I would have no problem meeting them on the Blackfoot. It might be best to discuss details over the phone if you don't mind giving me your number. One way or the other I am still very interested so let me know what you find out. Thanks a lot, Sam
