blast for sale in NC

Post by tgb »

Nearly new Esquif Blast for sale. Located in central NC. Boat has been used approx 5-6 times. In very good condition. Scratches have been touched up with PC-7. Can be setup to paddle tandem or solo. Will sell boat with ($1150) or without ($900) outfitting. The saddle shown in the photos is not the one that comes with the boat (outfitting comes with a voyageur TKO pedestal). Shipping not available, but may be willing to drive a short distance.

Photos can be viewed at: http://groups.msn.com/bradian/blast.msnw?albumlist=2

thanks for the feedback bill. i borrowed some tips from mike yee's site & took my time. i've rushed through outfitting in the past & wished i hadn't. my goal was to set it up so i could switch relatively quick between tandem & solo. the photos don't show it setup with the saddle i built for my son, but you can probably see the tie downs in front of the large knee pads. problem is, he's growing fast, & i want to switch to a longer boat for a little more leg room. still hoping to get a vertige x or similar. i used a northwater kit for the air bags, misc. tie downs, etc. & northwater thigh straps. if you get a chance, post some of your boat. i'm always looking to learn from other people's outfitting.

take care,
trevor

There is also a Blast for sale in Columbia, SC.

I like the outfitting! I set up something with a similar goal - I wanted to be able to quickly switch between solo and tandem. Mine still needs some tweaking but is working out pretty well. My kids are growing, too. I hope this ME is big enough for a while... I'll get some new pics up soon.
