Could this be the first offer for sale of a used Finkenmeister? This is a fun big-water and all-around river runner, but I never felt comfortable enough in it to make it a creeker, which is the reason I purchased it. I hung onto it for awhile to see if I could find the time to get more used to it, but work is getting busier and my wife and I have a new baby on the way in a few months :o , so I don' think I'm going to have any more time in the near future.

The boat is in excellent condition - I may have paddled it 10 times. The bottom oil-canned at one time, but I started storing it differently and this problem fixed itself. I've trimmed the hip pads and shaved a few inches off of the seat - otherwise, the outfitting is unchanged. I paddled it mostly in high water, so the bottom is in great shape. I'm asking $750.

If you're interested, please email me at hall@ahmrt. com.

Matt,

This is the 2nd used Finky for sale in the region this month. Around Christmas, on the Mountain Equipment Co-op gear swap, there was a Finky FS on Vancouver Island.

I wish I the money to buy them and the time to use them.

P. -

I should have followed up my asking price with "or best offer." You just may have the money to buy it. Now you just have to find the time...

p.s. if you ever make it down as far as Portland, I'd be happy to take you on a demo run somewhere close to town. We've had a ton of rain - lots of fun stuff has been running this winter.

Hi Matt:

If your Finkenmeister is still available could you please send me some photos, if you have them. My email address is kimforester@verizon.net. Also, does a skirt come with the boat?
