WTB: c1 paddle

Post by CrazyRiver »

need a new c1 paddle as I lost mine and havent been able to find it while paddling with my backup plastic raft paddle. not sure if I want to spend the $ on another new one if i can find one used for a good price. plus its getting kind of rocky on my home water so i dont really want to buy a new one, only to beat the crap out of it. So if anyone has a decent paddle laying around (ie, powerful blade, not super stiff, but not too 'flexy') 56 inches, i would be very happy to take it off your hands.

If you want a cheap stick that's not too bad buy an aquabound. I think they're like 75 bucks for the cheaper one.

Aqua Bound paddle

I have the Aquabound paddle and like it. I has held up in low water nicely. The blade has a little flex and if you have big hands you may not like the grip, but mine works great for me.

Sawyer makes an all wood C1 paddle for under $100.00. Nice balance, light, and fairly durable. Glass wrapped and dynel tipped, I believe. And, it doesn't kill you to trash it.
