SOLD! -- Blackfly Option for sale - Ottawa Area

Post by KateM »

Blackfly Option for sale in Ottawa area.

Lightly used, Lady-driven, less than a dozen times (I have another boat).

Great all-round boat. Very friendly and stable, durable plastic hull.
Comes outfitted with foam bulkhead and new Gaia floatation bags. For complete specs, see http://www.blackflycanoes.com/option.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. Note this is 2nd gen. version which is a bit lower in stern and bow - petite lady paddler friend says she prefers this version over newer boat.

Have made a few modifications for improved fit:
*carved out foam against walls at knees, added foam butterflies on inner block (see pic)
*added foam on floor for extra comfort when kneeling up
*drilled out drainholes in stern deck plate
*carved out Nalgene-keeper in front bulkhead

Ontario and QC paddlers - am asking $1400 (a $350 hit off the delivered shelf price before tax) willing to transport to a mutually-convenient paddling location (note: will be down in Marmora this wknd for MACK fest, and at HOHW in Petawawa in May, Sortie annuelle de la FQCK, etc...)

PM me through the board if you are interested. tx!
