One of a kind canoe. Hand-built by my father working with a neighbor who had a wood canoe shop for a while. This was ‘designed’ using the frames from a tandem canoe and just taking out the middle. Redwood, cane seat, fiberglass on interior, brass bow/stern protectors.
I will confess that it is not the most stable boat and definitely not for a beginner. Perhaps you just like the looks or maybe you have a creative idea for repurposing (book shelves? coffee table? over the mantle of your fireplace in your palatial second home? )

Pack out more than you pack in
Make the seat a "back brace" with a 3" piece of mini cell (with hollows for your cheeks) and it will very likely be much more stable... and perhaps easier to sell if you can plunk someone in it to paddle (the "original" 12' boats in the Adirondacks, as well as current boats like Placid and Hornbeck you pretty much sit on a pad on the bottom of the boat for stability reasons).
Hand made wooden boats are tough - If it catches someone's eye you could likely get a lot more for it, but likewise I've heard of some beautiful canoes going for much cheaper as no one seems to want them.
