Re: Which Jackson Playboat
The Rockstar is good... however the 07' (2nd generation) stars are comparatively longer and slicier, so are held to be a better boat to learn in by some...
My personal favourite of the jackson boats is actually the original Star series (my first boat that was), but that's just me I think.

Really? Not much response. Anyone know which boats were used at the World Freestyle for c-1?

Go with the biggest of the Star series. They are made to be park and playboats.

From the Jackson range a mixture of 2010 All/Superstars, and Medium & Large Rockstars... But there were also a big contingents of Project X's and a fair assortment of Composite boats from Gui Gui, Vadja and others.Yukon wrote:Really? Not much response. The Project X is begining to be held as being better than the Rockstar, and there's an increasing number of people who feel that with how radical the current generation of playboats have become, it's probably better to develop in a slightly older boat (hence my suggestion of the older generation of Star boats) and move to a current generation boat once you're able to do all the foundation moves (Spin, Cartwheel, Loop, Pirroette, Blunt etc) completely dialed down... I don't know where you're at skill wise, but I think I recall posts suggesting that you're still pretty new to freestyle/rodeo.
