That boat looks phantastic! Exactly what I thought was missing in the market, a traditional lookin open boat, but with REAL hard edges and a real full-on planing hull !!!

Can't wait to try one. When will they be out???

I don't exactly get the bottom of this boat, but I definetly want to try it here in Europe!!

I was thinking of a prelude later on, but "L'Edge" is probably a good alternative too! Have to try it.

But nice work anyhow, and really reat of Esquif to take the shot for this design!

When you start testing this boat (asuming you havent yet) could you put a couple of diffrent body sizes in it and have them review how the handling changes and compares when you stick one of us "un-svelt" paddlers in there?

About time I been hearin about this thing for over a year and it kinda looks like those pictures you sent to me a long time ago. I hope it is a hellva boat, I need an another boat I sold two a couple of weeks ago and I am down to 36

This is great news. I love the Spanish Fly and Ocoee, and I'm sure I'll love this boat. Can't wait to try one out!

First off, congrats to you Craig, and also to jacques/Esquif!

I will also be waiting to hear how the boat handles for heavier people. Maybe I worry too much this (or maybe I should just shut up and loose some weight!), because I'm starting to sound like a broken record as all the good boats get smaller, but I don't think big boys shine in the Solito, Zoom and other shorter boats.

Hopefully it'll sell and Esquif will consider a L'Edge X. I'd love a smaller Viper 12 or a drier Viper 11. Which I guess leaves me only the option of an Ocoee.

Anyway, congrats and good luck with the production, marketing and sales!!

Cool looking design . The bottom reminds me of rails on a 'yak so with that and the planing hull, it should really carve a wave and ferry across a river like crazy. Looking at the depth compared to the fly in one of the pics, it should be super dry - even fully open. That big deck area would scare me if it got caught in a pourover and blew a bag though
